A Retreat for All Saints/Souls Day November 2nd, 2019
Church of the Resurrection, Macedon
10.00 am - 4.00 pm
$25/20 on the day or $27.50/$22.50 online booking.
Two saints of our Anglican Calendar stand far apart in time and geography,
yet share the same passionate understanding that the God of Love we worship lives and moves amongst us,
in the ordinary, in the daily matter of our lives,
and amongst the people we meet,
inside and outside our communities.
Their lives reveal that the God who spoke to them in their time and place,
is the same God who speaks to each of us today.
Come along and join us as Carol O’Connor reflects on the lives of these two saints.
“The saints do not stand aside wrapped in delightful prayers
and feeling pure and agreeable to God.
They go right down into the mess;
and there, right down in the mess,
they are able to radiate God….”
Carol O’Connor, Manager of St Peter’s Eastern Hill, Melbourne,
is also a leader of retreats with a literary flavour.
