Op Shop MinistryOur Parish has two wonderful Op Shops. Both are staffed by a hard-working team of Volunteers, with the proceeds of sales being used to support our Mission Giving projects, both in the community, state, country, and overseas. Donations are welcome of clothing, linen, bric-a-brac and other trinkets. We cannot accept electronics, Mattresses, prams and strollers, or bicycle helmets.
St. Paul’s Op Shop is located in what was the original parish church of St. Paul’s in Gisborne on the corner of Fisher and Brantome street, and St. John’s Op Shop (known to some locals as Charity’s Secret) is located at the bottom of the hill in Station Street Riddells Creek. As both our shops are entirely volunteer operated, we are always looking for more hands on deck. Be it sorting, or manning the counter, or even just helping us to get the word into our communities, we can always use more help.
